Information Regarding Sample Shipments

We understand that important breeding decisions are made based on the genetic results you receive from your testing. Therefore, our goal is to provide you with accurate results and quality customer service, in addition to a quick turnaround time. Typically, you can expect your results in 14 days or less from the time we receive your samples in our laboratory.

We recognize there have been recent delays in shipping with the United States Postal Service (USPS) due to various circumstances. We know that this is frustrating, but unfortunately, the USPS is out of our control. However, this does not mean that we do not have ways to help. Our customers are our top priority. We have a few suggestions to ensure that your samples get to us quickly and safely for the fastest results:

Provide your own swabs. Although we offer complimentary swabs to our customers in the US and Canada (not including shipping to Canada), you can also purchase your own cheek swabs at your local drugstore to swab your pups. This way you do not have to wait on receiving the swab kits from our office. You can review this information here at our website to ensure you are following the proper guidelines.

Choose another sample method. In addition to cheek swabs, we also accept a variety of different sample types. For example, if you are planning for an upcoming litter, you can provide us with dewclaw samples. To review our accepted sample types, in addition to our instructions, visit our samples page.

Ship your samples back with a different courier. To avoid possible delays with the USPS, you can choose to ship your samples back to our laboratory using FedEx, UPS, Purolator (Canada) and more. Using these alternatives may help ensure that your package is delivered on time. Be sure to send directly to our street address, which can be found here.

We are not responsible for shipping delays caused by the USPS, and, unfortunately, cannot refund or credit expedited shipping once kits have been shipped.
