Yes, you may add links to your dog's profile from any website that displays information about your dog. The URLs provided cannot lead to any malicious or profane websites and need to adhere to our Terms & Conditions.
Do you oversee or approve the information provided by breeders?
No, Paw Print Pedigrees allows for genetic data to be uploaded from Paw Print Genetics. The genetic results from Paw Print Genetics are the only pieces of information that we verify. We allow for links to other websites to be added, but Paw Print Pedigrees does not oversee or verify the accuracy of the links for each dog or for the breeder's information. Links that do not adhere to our Terms & Conditions can and will be removed if they are found or reported.

Test Results

How do I know that the displayed results are correct?
Paw Print Pedigrees has a secure interface with Paw Print Genetics. When breeders and owners share their genetic testing results from Paw Print Genetics, it is displayed automatically on the Paw Print Pedigrees website. No editing of the information is permitted.
Can I trust the genetic results from Paw Print Genetics?
Paw Print Genetics has implemented testing standards that are found in human genetic testing laboratories - a highly regulated industry. In addition, each disease mutation is tested twice, with two independent methods. Finally, all results are reviewed and reports are written by a PhD geneticist and a licensed veterinarian. Their signatures appear on the original reports and Canine Genetic Health Certificates™.
